Wednesday 17th November 1915

It was a very fine day. The wind has gone round to the SW. I walked over to Ti Point in the morning, called at Charlie Dunnings to take Mr D. a bunch of roses, then went on to Harold Torkingtons where I had lunch, then went on to Joe’s, Minnie showed me all round their garden, they have a fine lot of vegetables growing, she gave me some Tomato plants to bring home with me. I came round here with the steamer, I brought a bag of white sand from Ti Point. Willie brought his butter & eggs down to the wharf in the sulky and he brought up his good in it, and my sand.
