Thursday 9th September 1915

It was a fine day. Jack & Mr Woods left by the steamer Kawau leaving here at 9am, we all went down to see them off.

We were very sorry that Jack could only pay such a short visit, but he and Henry are busy with lambing and docking. It is 5 years since he was up before.

In the afternoon Willie and Grace got the heifers out of N. Mathesons paddock, fixed up the fence and cut tea tree. I was digging in the flower garden. In the evening I went down for the mail and attended the Library.
