Thursday 9th December 1915

It was a very hot day. Willie took down 2 Cases of Tibbitts plums and his butter & eggs to the wharf before breakfast and brought up 4 bunches of fruit case lids. In the afternoon he was cutting Danthonia with Dave.

I painted the Church gate in the morning carried up some sand, in the afternoon I painted our front gate and dug amongst the Roses, in the evening I went down for the mail & attended the Library.
