Friday 12th November 1915

It rained heavy early this morning but cleared up and turned out a fine day.

In the morning I got firewood, in the afternoon I was helping Willie dig round the trees in the orchard. Went down to the steamer in the evening and got the mail, carried up to the Library a parcel of Magazines.

Willie received a long and interesting letter from Bert Wallace who is with a howitzer battery at Gallipoli.
